    Hello! My husband and I will be camping at Ft. Wilderness in November. Can we pick our campsite, or how does one get assigned? Also, I heard there’s fun things like sleigh rides around that time of year- how do I book this extra activity? So excited!

    Howdy Michelle and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
    My family and I have stayed many times in the beautifully rustic surroundings of the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort but I have to say that I've always hankered after spending a few nights under canvas in the Campsites! There's so many seasonal activities to enjoy at The Fort as featured in this Disney Parks Blog ~ Celebrate the Holidays at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort including Holiday Sleigh Rides which can easily be arranged by calling the number contained within my previous link.
    I'm happy to share that much like when staying in a Disney Resort Hotel there are several different levels of camping site or pitches to choose from such as Full Hook Up, Preferred or Premium which although differ in size can all accommodate up to 10 adults and are spread out over many camping loops. Although it's not possible to pick an exact camping site you'll be pleased to know that prior to arrival Guests can request their preference of camping loop via Online Check-in or by speaking with Front Desk Services at The Fort; it's also worth remembering that although requests at Walt Disney World Resort can never be guaranteed Cast Members will endeavour to accommodate Guests.
