My husband has a business trip to Anaheim November 1-4. I’m planning on taking on Disneyland on my own one day and then we’ll do DCA on Saturday. Will the Halloween decorations still be up, will there be some Christmas decorations.? Thanks

    Hi, Sara!

Welcome, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I’m glad to hear you’ll be able to sneak in a visit to the Disneyland Resort during your husband’s business trip! You’re going to love exploring the Happiest Place on Earth.

Halloween decor will begin to come down immediately after the parks close on the evening of October 31. Winter holiday decorations and other seasonal extras begin appearing around the resort in early November, with the exception of the Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction overlay, which is complete around late September and remains through the holiday season until early January. In my experience, Christmas holiday decor is gradually added at night when the theme parks are closed and is complete by second week of November. The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will officially begin on November 9 this year, so while your visit is a bit too early in the month to experience all the special offerings, such as the "Believe...In Holiday Magic" fireworks show or A Christmas Fantasy Parade, I suspect you’ll begin to see some winter holiday touches popping up in the theme parks during your visit.

I hope this helps, Sara. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
