Hello Barbara,
How wonderful to have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation to look forward to in the New Year, I think January is a great time to visit the Disney Theme Parks with the high chance of enjoying lower crowds and cooler weather!
Please don't be too overly concerned about your dear husband's food choices, you will find there are plenty of yummy vegan things for him to eat while enjoying his family trip.
I would suggest adding your husband's dietary requirements to your Resort booking and to any Advanced Dining Reservations you make; to speak with a Cast Member and make Advanced Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance call 407 939 3463.
It's worth remembering that when dining at any Disney
Table Service restaurant your husband may
always request to speak with the Chef to discuss the menu and what's available to him; this way he should never miss out on a tasty meal.
One of the first things Guests encounter at the
Magic Kingdom Park is the enticing smell of popcorn...well you'll be happy to know Disney uses animal free butter flavoring on their popcorn! For more snacks street cart vendors also sell vegan pretzels and fresh fruit.
When visiting
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park check out the restrictive diet oasis that is the
Gardens Kiosk in Discovery Island where you're sure to find vegan snacks on offer.
You may find out some great information by checking
Special Dietary Requests.
If I can help you further plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation please come back and ask me another question.
Have a great Disney day.
- Jane
