    My husband and I are bringing our 7 year old son for a Star Wars weekend in June. We are a little confused as to what all the activities are that differ from "non Star Wars" weekends. Will there be themed character meals that we can make reservat

    Hi Richard ~

    I LOVE Star Wars Weekends (SWW) and I'm super excited about this year! SWW feature lots of activities that are not typically available throughout the year. It seems that Disney is changing things up a bit this year but here is what you may expect:

    * Stormtroopers near the intersection of Hollywood & Vine and patrolling the park
    * Boba Fett Patrol
    * Legends of the Force: Star Wars Celebrity Motorcade ending at the SWW Event Stage (in front of the Sorcerer's Hat) followed by a celebrity welcome
    * Symphony in the Stars - Finale celebration featuring Star Wars characters and fireworks (Glow with the Show ears will work with this)
    * Padawan Mind Challenge
    * Adventures at Premiere Theater - Star Wars characters and celebrity guests appear at the Premiere Theater - there are 3 different sessions daily
    * Darth's Mall - featuring Star Wars merchandise
    * Star Wars Character Autographs
    * Celebrity Autograph Sessions
    * Star Tours (available throughout the year)
    * Jedi Training Academy (available throughout the year)

    James Arnold Taylor is returning as the Celebrity Host for the 2014 SWW.

    Also new for 2014, Star Wars character dining experiences! The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant will host a Galactic Star Wars character breakfast including Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, Jawa, Greedo and Boba Fett. Hollywood & Vine will feature Jedi-Mickey and his friends dressed as Star Wars characters for dinner. These will be held May 4 - June 15, 2014 even on non-SWW dates. Call 407-WDW-DINE for reservations.

    The SWW link above has details of each. Stay tuned to Disney Parks Blog for new information to be released and the event website DisneyTheForce.com. If you are on twitter be sure to follow #DisneyTheForce.

    May the force be with you :-) Allison V.
