My husband and I are bringing our 3 year old son to Disney in June. Will he be able to sit on my lap during Toy Story Mania and Buzz Lightyear so that I can help him play the games while also allowing us all to ride together?

Hi, Lindsey! You're bringing back memories of when we took our oldest biscuit to Disney World when he was three. Two of his favorite attractions were Toy Story Midway Mania and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Granted, my aggregate score was better than his, but who's keeping track, right? Kidding. Sort of.

When he was three, he sat in his own seat on both attractions. I would help him with his firing mechanism (Toy Story's pull string is suhweet!) Here's how we did it: I'd let my son get in first. Then, after securing the safety bar, I would put my inside arm around him and I'd use my outside arm to help direct the firing mechanism in front of him. It was awesome, and a great way for the little guy to have some independence (with assistance!)
