Hi, there!
JoLyn, I'm so happy to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few short days. It's the perfect place to kick off the
holiday season!
Strollers are available to rent at all four theme parks and Disney Springs, but they're a hard, molded plastic and not really appropriate for babies who aren't sitting up independently. I highly recommend taking your own stroller with you into the theme parks, especially with an itty bitty baby in tow. Most airlines will allow you to check a stroller and a car seat at no charge, so I always travel with our stroller from home when we're flying to Orlando. You'll want to be sure the stroller you take into the theme parks is comfortable for your little one, provides lots of shade from the sun, and features some storage space for the souvenirs you're bound to purchase during your visit. If you'll be relying on
Disney bus transportation during your stay, you'll also want a stroller that folds quickly and easily. Strollers must be no larger than 31" wide and 52" long to enter the theme parks, so don't forget to check those measurements!
You are most welcome to wear your little Mouseketeer on
family-friendly attractions, so you may also want to take a baby carrier with you. Your baby is sure to enjoy the gentle, easy tracks of attractions like Peter Pan's Flight and peaceful boat rides like Na'vi River Journey!
Did you know there's a conveniently located
Baby Care Center in each of the four theme parks? Each Baby Care Center features a changing room, private nursing rooms, a living room area with comfortable seating, a kitchen, and an on-site shop with baby care essentials available for purchase. It's the perfect place to take your little one for some peace and quiet amid an adventure-filled day in the theme parks!
I hope this was helpful, JoLyn. I'm wishing you and your family a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
