My husband and I are bringing our teen daughters (15 & 13) to Disney World 6-8-12 to 6-14-12. We have never been to Disney before. We are looking to stay at a value or moderate resort. Any suggestions on where to say/meal plans/activities?

Greetings Jennifer! Congrats on booking your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Thanks for your questions! It appears that you're considering a Walt Disney World Resort hotel for your stay!  This is a great idea!  On-property hotels, whether value, moderate, or deluxe, all offer an unparalleled level of service and convenience, not to mention the most magical theming and decor.
My best recommendation for your family, considering you have teenage daughters, is Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort.  This moderate resort is situated along the banks of the Sassagoula River and transports guests to the antebellum South. The rooms at Port Orleans Riverside are larger than those at value resorts and this resort has recently undergone a huge renovation. I have had the pleasure of staying in one of the newly-renovated rooms which I must say, are beautiful, clean, and spacious.

Port Orleans Riverside offers a multitude of activities so I'm sure both you and your husband as well as your teen daughters will find plenty to keep you busy! From Old Man Island, the resort's main pool area, to carriage rides, fishing, and boat rentals there are so many amenities to choose from. Also keep in mind that this resort features both counter service and table service dining options as well as transportation to Downtown Disney via the Sassagoula River Cruise, a scenic and relaxing boat ride.
