Hi, my husband & I are bringing our son for his 1st Birthday at the Magic Kingdom. Do I need to bring his birth certificate as proof that its his Birthday to get his 'its my Birthday' pin at the parks? Are their any other Birthday perks? Thank you!

How wonderful!! No, there's no need for a birth certificate, your word is good enough.  Just stop by Guest Relations in any of the parks, and pick up his button.  We took a picture of our daughter on her first birthday in front of the castle, and then we took one every birthday we were there afterwards, and its neat to see the changes in not only her, but of the castle.  You can request a birthday cupcake, or a specialty cake if you call 48 hours ahead of time to the restaurant.  I made a tie die t-shirt that said It's my first birthday!!  Hope you have a wonderful first birthday!!  Heather M.
