My husband and I will be bringing our 20-month old son to POR in May 2014. We are wondering if the bath tubs are slip/skid proof. If not, are there mats available (how much) or should we bring our own? Also, should we get a raincover for our stroller?

    Hi Casse Andra!

Having brought 3 toddlers to Walt Disney World, I'd say that the tub mat is a great idea!  The bottom of the tub can be slick, so I'd either bring a tub mat from home, or a super- thrifty solution: a spare hand towel on the floor of the tub.

As always, make sure you're extra mindful of the new surroundings in the bathroom.  There are no spout covers, etc. so make sure to keep an extra eye on your little one while bathing.

If your stroller doesn't come with a rain cover, I'd get one, or in a pinch, a large, clear poncho works as well, just make sure it's well ventilated.

    Have a magical vacation!
