Greetings, Cindy! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Wow! How incredibly special to be taking your grandchildren to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Children under 3 years old do not require theme park tickets at the Disneyland Resort. So, if you were budgeting a certain amount for the little one's ticket, you just saved yourself some money! Also, you can certainly buy your
tickets online with a
Disney Gift Card. Just keep in mind that, currently, only one gift card can be used to purchase tickets online. If you have multiple gift cards, you will need to visit a ticket booth at the parks. Purchasing your tickets online in advance is such a time-saver! You can choose to have your tickets mailed to you or you can select the eTicket option. With this option, you will receive ticket vouchers by email that you can then bring directly to the gates at either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. Your vouchers will be exchanged for paper tickets that you will use for the duration of your stay.
Further, I recommend purchasing Park Hopper tickets. The parks are so close together that it takes mere minutes to walk from one park to the other. With Park Hopper tickets, you and the grand kids can explore all the classic magic at
Disneyland Park plus the wonder and excitement of
Disney California Adventure Park all in one day.
I'd love to answer any other questions you may have, so please stop by again. Have a great day!
