Hello, Gail,
Thank you for sending your question to planDisney. How wonderful that you will be visiting Walt Disney World with your granddaughter! I think you'll be making many incredible memories together.
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has been an iconic part of Walt Disney World since it opened in 1971, including the Spirit of Aloha dinner show. As Walt Disney World continues to grow and change, the Spirit of Aloha is no longer running. However, I highly recommend '
Ohana, which is a family-style Polynesian dining experience, for breakfast and dinner. When eating there for breakfast, Lilo and Stitch and a few other friends stop by to say hello! The dinner menu is filled with some delicious grilled offerings as well as the incredibly famous pineapple coconut bread pudding. It is so wonderful!
If you'd like to enjoy more of a dinner theater experience,
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is a slightly campy, hand-clapping, good old-fashioned fun evening of smiles and laughter that has been part of Walt Disney World since 1974. The
menu features fried chicken and bbq ribs with all the sides, and the show performed by the Pioneer Hall Players will have you laughing and giggling away as you eat.
Wishing you a magical trip! Please let us know if we can help with any further questions.
