    Hello! My husband and I are bringing our 2 girls, ages 7 and 3 to Disney Dec 26-Dec 30. I am extremely nervous about the crowds. Trip is booked, dining plans made and itenirary somewhat completed. Any suggestions to ease my stress about crowds?

    Hi there, Chastity!

    I think the first step in easing your mind is accepting the fact that yes, there will be crowds. Historically, this ia a very busy week at the Walt Disney World Resort, and you are going to be celebrating the holidays with lots of Guests who had the same wonderful plan. But knowing, as they say, is half the battle.

    Arm yourself, then, with snacks, beverages, and things to do while you wait. Disney will permit snacks and drinks in coolers - no glass containers of any type - and it's amazing what a little nibble of something yummy can do for a mood.

    Small coloring books, puzzles, travel games .... these can help fill the time in a ride queue or while waiting for a table. Chenllle sticks make for marvelous crafts, and you would be surprised at the power of simple bubbles!

    Check out TouringPlans.com. This site uses both realtime and historical data to predict Park levels and wait times. You might want to invest in the app; it, like the new official My Disney Experience app, will really come in handy as you are planning your on-the-fly moments.

    And don't forget downtime, especially with the little one. Make time in your day to head back to your Resort hotel for a swim, weather permitting, in the heated pool, or enjoy some quiet resting before heading out again.

    When you are aware of the crowd levels and you are prepared to address the time issues attendant with these levels, you and your travel party will be much more more comfortable and ready to have a magical time.
