Hi! My husband and I are bringing our children to Disney in November to celebrate our oldest son’s 5th birthday. Is there some way I can schedule a call from Mickey to tell him ‘happy birthday’ and let him know that we are going to Disney?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica! What a wonderful birthday trip you have planned for your son! I know your eyes will light up when you see him experience the magic!

I’m sorry to say that currently, there are no phone call options to welcome your family to embark on vacation. You will find that when you visit your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Room that if you press FRONT DESK on your room phone, a Cast Member will connect you will Goofy and he will wish your little guy a Happy Day! He can also don a Happy Birthday button on his shirt that will garner him Birthday wishes from everyone all vacation long! When it was my son’s 5th birthday, we took him out to breakfast (his favorite meal) and told him over Mickey shaped pancakes that we were leaving THAT DAY to have his birthday trip. He could hardly finish his meal because he was so excited ride the “heigh ho” roller coaster! Perhaps you can order a pizza with a pepperoni Mickey? There are a ton of ways to break the news to your family about the celebration.

If I can help you with more birthday options like Room Celebrations or perhaps ordering a cake while you are there, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
