My husband and our 2 boys (6 & 8) will be staying at the AllStars Sports Resort 1st week of Nov., and I'm getting mixed feedback on the size of the room, noise level and the wait for the bus? Did I make a bad choice? Financially, this was our best opt

Hi Michele!  Everyone is going to have a favorite resort at Walt Disney World. But understand what one person likes might not be the best for another. With your two boys I am sure you chose the All Star Sports resort because they are interested in sports. They will love the decor there!

The size of the value resort rooms are basically the same unless you opt for one of the family suites.  The rooms are fine and adequate and I wouldn't worry too much about that. They aren't huge but they offer enough room for sleeping and storing your duds as you aren't going to be spending too much time there anyway. The noise level is unpredictable. I have had to call security in the middle of the night at the Yacht Club when large groups were on the beach making noise. You just can't determine who is going to be at your resort and the behavior they will have. If you find there is something not appropriate you need to call your resort security and let them handle that.  Groups are often staying at the All Star resorts and they sometimes get a bad rap because there are a lot of kids there. You can request a room away from groups and they can try to accommodate your wishes.

Buses are shared at the All Star resorts unless it is during the busy times. The first week of November is a good week to vacation so they likely will share but again you are on the bus for a short time and if you don't always have a seat it isn't so bad. Happens with all the buses from ALL the resorts from time to time.

I say keep your reservation and with the money you have saved you can enjoy some good dining or take some super souvenirs home with you at the end of the trip. On your next visit try another of the Value resorts such as Pop Century or the Art of Animation.
