Hi, My husband, 3 boys and I are coming to WDW in May, do you think Big Thunder Mountain is too scary for a two year old (He is the correct height) ?

Hi Jenny! Now that Goofy's Barnstormer is closed for the Fantasyland expansion (re-opening as the Great Goofini), Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is the tamest coaster in Walt Disney World. I wouldn't call it scary, but it is fast and does have some dips and turns. I have a 2 year old myself, and I personally wouldn't feel comfortable taking him on the ride. I don't think he would really understand what was going on. If your little guy has been on coasters before and you know he likes them, then maybe it would be okay. You could also ride it yourself first and see what you think before you make a final decision. I know many kids that are daredevils and absolutely love roller coasters, I think I just always err on the side of caution with little guys!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
