My husband and I and 2 boys ages 7 and 4 have reservations for Aug.@ WL. We may need to downgrade to a moderate or value resort. We are considering the CBR and the Pop Century. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We would also need a fridge for milk.

    Crystal:

If you're looking at the Moderates, Caribbean Beach Resort's pool makes it a solid option, especially in HOT, humid August!  It sports a pirate-theme and slide that's a hit with the kids, and there's a new water play area that's a preschooler paradise!

Consider splurging on one of the Pirate-themed rooms (with carpet that looks like wooden ship planks!) and the boys will get a kick out of the pirate-chest of drawers.  (And you'll like the proximity of the preferred room to the pool and restaurants.)  The resort's plus is the fridge you'll have in your room!  Sounds like you're on a budget, so you can store breakfast foods, too, in there—saving you money to enjoy the upgrade from the Value resorts!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
