Hello! My husband, 2 boys (ages 7 & 3) & I will be flying into Orlando Sanford Int. Airport for our Disney trip in June. I was informed that the Magical Express will NOT pick up at that airport. How do we get to our resort (all-star sports)?

    Hi Kara!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for bringing us this great question. Currently, Disney's Magical Express only operates to and from Orlando International Airport. However, I'm happy to let you know about some options for transit to Disney's All-Star Sports Resort from Orlando Sanford International Airport.

You can find a list of ground transportation companies right on Orlando Sanford International Airport's webpage under "ground transportation." Another option is to rent a car. If you decide to rent a car, you will be happy to know that there is complimentary self-parking at Walt Disney World Resort hotels for Guests staying on-property, which is a great perk! Finally, you could take a taxi, but this would be your most expensive option. For planning purposes, note that Orlando Sanford International Airport is about 55 miles from Walt Disney World Resort, or about an hour to an hour and a half drive.

I hope this helps with your planning, Kara. Please stop back again real soon and let me know if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation.

    Wishing you many magical memories!
