Me, my husband and 2 boys aged 5 and 14 are planning a trip to WDW for July. We are staying outside the park in downtown Disney. Are you able to leave the park in the middle of the day and reenter later at no addl cost?

Hi Kerry - Greetings from Massachusetts!  If you leave a park during the day and return to the same park, you will incur no additional costs.  I generally like to do that on my vacations, so we can grab lunch and rest at our resort before heading back for more fun.

If you do want to enter a different park in the same day, however, you'll need to have the park hopper option on your tickets.

Hope that helps!  Have a great vacation!
