My husband bought tickets for my son and a friend. The friend cannot go. Can we give the ticket to someone else

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s off to planDisney you go, Nicole!

It’s your turn to visit the Happiest Place on Earth tomorrow, and I couldn’t be more excited for you! I’m sorry to hEAR that your son’s friend won’t be able to join you, though. However, I’m happy to report that you can give the theme park ticket to someone else to use! You won’t need to worry about changing the name on the ticket, since tickets aren’t actually assigned to a specific person until each ticket is scanned at the front entrance turnstiles. As each Guest in your group is scanned in, a Cast Member will take a picture to assign their ticket. At that point, the ticket can’t be transferred to anyone else.

However, if you’d still prefer to change the name on the ticket for utilizing Disney Genie+ Service, or for any other reason, you may do so by calling Ticket Services for assistance, or by visiting a Main Entrance Ticket Booth upon arrival at the Disneyland Resort.

Did you know that hugs are back, Nicole? That’s right, non-distanced Character meet-and-greets are back, so get ready for some epic hugs from your favorite Disney Characters! Plus, get ready to light up the night with the return of some of our favorite nighttime spectaculars, including the Main Street Electrical Parade and Disneyland Forever fireworks in Disneyland Park, and World of Color in Disney California Adventure Park.

Last but not least, here’s the Entertainment Schedule for your arrival day tomorrow. This way, you can start mapping out your magical plans for your special day!

    See ya' real soon,
    Kristin

As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
