My husband bought our tickets while logged into his My Disney Experience App. My two daughters’ tickets show up on his account but not mine. As far as booking virtual queues and individual lightening lanes wouldn’t they need to be connected to my account

Hi, Allison thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question.

Visiting with family is easily my favorite type of stay. Whether it is immediate family or friends of the family let’s be realistic, the more the merrier. When making plans for Virtual Queues before your park day starts, you will want to make sure your husband and two daughters are on your “Family & Friends List” inside of your My Disney Experience App. To add them visit the “My Profile” section of your App. There will be a tab at the top that says “Family & Friends List” Tap there and find “Add a Guest” in blue. From there you can scan your husband’s linking code which is found inside his My Disney Experience App. Once they show in your list you know you will be ready to get those popular attractions lined up nice and early. This will allow you to make plans with them as long as they have a valid park ticket and reservation for the park you are trying for a Virtual Queue.

Those open up at 7 a.m. and go quickly so make sure you are on the App a couple of minutes before. If you miss any of the morning queues, no need to worry you will have another opportunity at 1 p.m. You can purchase Disney's Genie+ Service the day of your visit and once you have purchased it you can start to make all those Lightning Lanes. Those will work the same just make sure you select who is riding and make those reservations. My tip for each Lightning Lane is to try and make sure you know what attractions and experiences are located near your next return time. This way you can enjoy extra attraction while you wait. You can also choose to eat or just people-watch. Genie+ allows me to enjoy the park more and not have to spend time in line. Most guests use 2-3 Lightning Lanes per day.

I hope you and your family get this all straightened out before your visit if you continue to have issues you can get some assistance by phone. Visit us again at planDisney.com and we will be ready to help.

    Have a magical day,

    Jeremy A.
