Hello, me and my husband just booked a 4 day trip with our 3yr old daughter for Jan 2014. we already have tickets and hotel reservations. I want to save up to add the dining plan but I'm unsure of how much is costs. Can you give me a rough estimate?

    Hi Elyse,

Your princess will have the most magical trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth," and I guarantee YOU will, too! There are so many surprises in store for you ... in New Fantasyland, especially. I can certainly give you a rough estimate as to what the Disney Dining Plans might cost for a 4-night stay in 2014 at a Disney Resort hotel. The 2013 prices are as follows:

Magic Your Way plus Quick-Service Dining: $37.58 per night, ages 10 and up; $14.32 per night, ages 3-9

Magic Your Way plus Dining: $55.59-$56.94 per night, ages 10 and up; $17.16-$18.16 per night, ages 3-9 (range depends on season)

Deluxe Dining Plans are around $100 per night for adults and around $29 for children ages 3-9

I've included the Disney Dining Plan link for additional information on the items included in each plan. Every year, the plans seem to increase a few dollars so perhaps you might budget about $60 per night for 2014, if participating in the Magic Your Way plus Dining. Prices are always subject to change, so keep an eye out mid-year for updates to 2014 plans.

Be sure to contact 407-W-DISNEY at least 3 days prior to your arrival date to add the Disney Dining Plan to your reservation, and keep in mind only select packages are eligible. Whether you decide to add the plan or not, you'll still want to book your Advanced Dining Reservations as early as 180-days prior to arrival. The most popular dining locations WILL book up quickly! You can contact Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE, 407-939-3463 or online.

Wishing you a MAGICAL vacation, Elyse, and thank you for your great question. If you need suggestions on best dining locations, I'd be happy to assist!
