Janice from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My husband has been battling cancer. We have not been able to use our resident passes this year. Does Disney give any credit towards a new pass if we did not use our passes at all due to his cancer. Thank you.

Hi Janice, and welcome to planDisney.

I'm sorry to hear your husband is battling cancer, and I'm sending a Mickey-sized hug to you both, along with my wishes for his recovery and health. All of us here at planDisney are rooting for him!

It's certainly understandable that you haven't been able to use your Florida Resident Annual Passes during this time. You'll need to connect with V.I.PASSHOLDER Support to find out what options are available to you. You may connect with a friendly Cast Member by calling (407) WDW-PASS or by using the online form at  Disneyworld.com/PassholderHelp. I'm sending pixie-dusted wishes that there's a good option available so you can focus on your husband's health as you dream about the two of you returning to The Most Magical Place on Earth together.

In the meantime, if you need a little magic in your life, I recommend reading the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news from around Walt Disney World Resort. I know their stories bring a smile to my face when I need a dose of my happy place.

Thank you for stopping by with your question, Janice. I'm wishing you the courage of Cinderella, some moments of rest like Sleeping Beauty, and the strength and patience of Tiana - and I'm thinking happy thoughts for you both.

    Wishing you much magic,
