HI! My husband is attending a conference at the Yacht Club. When we do WDW, my aunt takes us (she's a retired WDW manager). Will we be able to use FastPAss+? We are staying on WDW property, but only 1 of us will have to purchase tickets. Thanks!!

    Hi Pam,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us such an interesting question!

If I understand correctly, some of the Guests in your party will be entering Walt Disney World Resort’s theme parks with a retired Cast Member (who, as far as I understand, still holds a valid Main Entrance Pass for themselves and up to 3 of their family members or friends) but one Guest will still need to purchase a Theme Park Ticket.

The ability to make FastPass+ selections isn’t tied to the fact that you’ll be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, but rather to the type of Theme Park Ticket that you’ll be using. Unfortunately, I don’t believe that the the Main Entrance Pass allows Guests who will be using it to have the ability to make FastPass+ selections prior to their arrival.

What I would recommend doing would be to have the one person who will be purchasing a Theme Park Ticket make their FastPass+ selections and then, once you’ve entered the Theme Park for the day, head straight to a FastPass+ kiosk and try to copy them over to everyone in your party.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,
