Hi Brittany,
Thanks for reaching out with your great question! I’ve attended a few conferences at the Walt Disney World Resort and am happy to help you learn how to add another theme park day to your purchased tickets. It sounds like you’ve taken advantage of the special conference attendee rate offered in partnership with sponsoring conferences on property, which is a different process than adding a day to your regular theme park ticket. I'm certain you've done nothing wrong - let’s see what’s possible!
The “twilight ticket” you mention is offered exclusively for convention attendees and their families, offering savings for partial theme park days based on the planned hours of the event itself. These convention tickets are not sold on the
primary Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket website but rather through a link you would have received on a flyer or email communication from the company sponsoring the conference.
To add a day to your already purchased two-day 1:00 P.M. tickets, please call the Convention and Meeting Events Ticket Line. You can reach this special team at 407-566-5600, from Monday - Friday: 8:30 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. EST and Saturday - Sunday: 8:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. EST.Be sure to have the conference information and your tickets available to share key information they may require to research your purchase and share what's available to you. These tickets are a wonderful way to extend your experience and take advantage of the opportunity to be on property with your husband’s event. They are typically valid from seven days prior to the event, during the event, and for seven days after the event – policies around these unique tickets certainly can change so please be sure to read the details of your communications and have any questions clarified when you speak with the group tickets team over the phone. Your husband will enjoy an impactful, memorable event at one of the many convention resorts with their wonderful business amenities, comfortable meeting spaces, and meals offered with magical Disney service.
October will be a beautiful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to
check the park operating hours for your planned theme park dates – for example, Magic Kingdom Park closes many nights at 6:00 P.M. for a special ticked event, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and you may want to visit on a day when it is open late for all Guests to maximize your time in that iconic park. There’s so much to experience outside of the theme parks too; I know you’ll find many fun things to do while you wait for the clock to strike 1:00 P.M. each day! Some of my favorite activities include exploring different resorts through
table service meals and shopping or wandering through the sprawling
Disney Springs property which always has a fun energy and vibe.
Please
let me know if you have any additional questions on how to make the best use of both your husband's business event and your special family fun time on property together.
Wishing you a magical visit,
Amy
