My husband will be attending a conference the end of March and my 3.5 year old son and I will be tagging along. I have never been to Disney World before. Any pointers on how I can plan an itinerary on such short notice? Any must see attractions for us?

  • Hello Melanie and thanks for bringing such a great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

How perfectly wonderful for you and your darling little Mouseketeer to be making a 1st ever visit to Walt Disney World Resort whilst accompanying your dear husband on his conference trip, I can just imagine how excited you all must be!

I'm assuming your precious family time at Walt Disney World Resort is limited, therefore you may wish to concentrate on enjoying all the sights and sounds of the Magic Kingdom Park rather than trying to see it all in a short space of time. You will find the Magic Kingdom Park to be a glorious pixie dusted place, filled with the kind of magic that you and your lovely family can escape into together.  Be sure not to miss classic Attractions like it's a small world or Peter Pan's Flight and certainly make time to catch the majestic Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade

In addition Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones should be a useful resource for your family and I'm sure what ever is finally decided upon you'll enjoy a magical visit next month to Walt Disney World Resort making memories with your family which will last an entire lifetime.

    Have a great Disney day.

    ~ Jane
