my husband and i are going to attend the Mickeys not so scary halloween party and we are wanting to go as Aladdin and Jasmine and i read on here that u cant have princess costumes, is this true? it isnt a licensed costume , more of a blue dance costume

Hi there Jessica!  How exciting that you and your hubby will be attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) this year!  My family always has a blast at this special event and like you, we are already planning out our costumes for this year!

While adults are not allowed to wear costumes on regular park days, it is my understanding that pretty much "anything goes" during MNSSHP.  Last year, I saw lots of adults dressed as Disney characters and can even vividly remember seeing a woman dressed as Jasmine, as a matter of fact.

You will be fine!  Have fun with it and be sure to grab LOTS of candy!
