My husband and I ate at Fultons the first day of our honeymoon at Disney World over 2 years ago, we are returning this November and are wondering if you know if Paddlefish will be open by then.

    Hi Mary,

Thanks so much for your question! My daughter and I were at Disney Springs yesterday and, as we were looking at the Paddlefish renovations underway, we were reminiscing about our  first visit to Fulton's more than 20 years ago. The exterior update is looking great, and we're eager to see the new menu.

I haven't seen any official word on an opening date. Construction has progressed a great deal since I was last at Disney Springs about six weeks ago, but it is always difficult to gauge how long projects like this will take. I suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for an announcement of the debut.

Disney Springs has rolled out so many new and fabulous dining options in the past few months. As an alternative, if Paddlefish isn't available, I highly recommend The Boathouse, which also sits on the water and has great views and delicious seafood. If you are looking for a high-end steak dinner, you can't go wrong with the new STK Orlando

Morimoto Asia is one of my family's new favorites, and we fell in love with Frontera Cocina on our first visit yesterday. We're eagerly anticipating a meal at Chef Art Smith's Homecoming in a couple of weeks.

So, while I hope you can revisit your honeymoon experience, I'm confident you will find another special place to dine if it isn't yet ready. Enjoy!
