My husband & I are arriving in WDW on Thanksgiving Day w our 2 & 4 year old daughters. By the time we get to the resort, I'm assuming it will be late afternoon. We really want to go to MK. Just wondering how crowded it will be that day. Any adv

Thanksgiving is a very busy day at Magic Kingdom, Cindie.  In years past, Magic Kingdom has actually had to close for capacity on the holiday.  There is, of course, no telling whether or not that will be the case this year, but because your arrival is scheduled for late afternoon, I would make alternate plans just in case closure is necessary.  You might consider taking a spin on the monorail or visiting Downtown Disney where the girls can ride the carousel.  I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it's probably best to arrive with a "plan b" in mind.  Good luck!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
