My husband and I will be arriving next week to stay at Port Orleans in a king room. Does our room have a single coffee maker? If so, which brand and how much coffee is provided? We are trying to be prepared for our trip. Thank you for your help.

Well, hello there, Mary! And welcome to planDisney! Your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is only days away! I can imagine how excited you must be! To say that my husband and I love coffee is an understatement. Some might even call it an "obsession," so I understand the importance of your question.

Walt Disney World has two resorts with the name Port Orleans: Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. I have stayed at both, and you can't go wrong with either! They are sister resorts, located next to each other, but they do have differences. One of those is the coffee maker. The latest information that I have access to says that rooms at Port Orleans - Riverside have a Cuisinart Coffee Maker that uses flat pods, while the rooms in French Quarter have a different Cuisinart Coffee Maker that uses single-serve packets. Not to worry, Mary. Guest Services will provide you with as much coffee as you need for in-room use. I have tested this theory many times over. You know, for research. If you see that supplies are running low, just pick up your room phone and press the button for the front desk. A Cast Member will be happy to have more coffee delivered to your room. Another option is to request it through your My Disney Experience App.

Disney Resort Collection hotels provide Joffrey's Coffee in their rooms. It has become one of my favorite coffees, so I am glad I can purchase it in the parks and at Disney Springs. Speaking of Disney Springs, your resort is only a boat ride away! There is so much to see, do, and eat there! I love to get lunch at D-Luxe Burger, shop for souvenirs in World of Disney (the largest Disney store in the world!), and then grab dessert at Gideon's Bakehouse, which is a must-do for our family every visit.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation and make the most magical memories, Mary. If there's anything else we can help with here at planDisney, please let us know!
