My husband and I are arriving to disneyworld on March 2, 2018. We are staying at port orleans friend quarter therefore I know I can start booking my dining reservations on Sept 3. My question is how will I be able to book out for the extra days dining?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Sarah ~

March will be hEAR before you know it and I love to see that you are planning ahead! Making advanced dining reservations is always a top priority for me when planning trips to the Walt Disney World Resort. All Guests (even those staying off property) can begin making advanced dining reservations 180 days prior to the date of their visit. Guests who have made a reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and linked their reservation to their My Disney Experience account, can begin making their dining reservations 180 days prior to the first date of their visit plus the next 10 days of their vacation.

That can be a little confusing but I'll try to clarify for you. Today is September 6, 2017 so all Guests staying on or off property can make a dining reservation for 180 days from now which would be March 5, 2018. Guests who do not have a Disney World Resort hotel reservation, can only make reservations as far out as March 5, 2018. If they want reservations for March 6, 2018, they will have to call or make reservations online for that day tomorrow (and so on).

Since you are planning to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and have already booked your hotel reservation, you can make dining reservations for March 5, 2018 plus the 10 days following for your trip (180 days + 10 days).

Advanced dining reservations can be made online through the link shown above, on the My Disney Experience mobile app, or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
