My husband has always wanted to experience Christmas at Disney in Florida. Can you recommend a hotel on or near magic kingdom?

Hi Cynthia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You must be thrilled to visit the Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays with your husband! Not only are the theme parks dreamy when the Christmas decorations are in place, but the Disney Resort hotels are gorgeous during this time of year. Some of my favorite vacation photos are of my family in front of the huge Christmas trees that are found in the lobby area of the Disney Resort hotels!

To stay near Magic Kingdom Park, there are four Disney Resort hotels that I would recommend. Three are on the monorail loop and provide the easiest and quickest access to Magic Kingdom Park: Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Contemporary Resort. While Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is my personal favorite, all three are beautiful! Disney's Contemporary Resort is within walking distance to Magic Kingdom Park, so you can be entering "The Most Magical Place on Earth" in a matter of minutes!

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is my fourth recommendation. This Disney Resort hotel is a boat ride away from Magic Kingdom Park and it is probably the most swoon-worthy during the holidays! With the rustic feel of a cabin, the greenery around the resort gives a cozy holiday feel to Guests.

No matter which Disney Resort hotel you decide to stay at, you really can't go wrong! I hope this helps as you plan your trip, Cynthia! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
