The Disneyland Resort includes
Disneyland Park,
Disney California Adventure Park, and a shopping and dining area that doesn't require a ticket called the
Downtown Disney District. There are so many amazing things for the whole family to enjoy, but your son might particularly like the
Star Wars offerings and perhaps the
thrill attractions.
Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park is perfect for any Star Wars fan. They can enjoy attractions like Star Tours – The Adventures Continue and Hyperspace Mountain and walk through Star Wars Launch Bay. This is also where you can meet Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and Chewbacca.
If your son likes thrill rides, you simply must ride California Screamin'! It is one of my all time favorite roller coasters. Radiator Springs Racers, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Indiana Jones Adventure, and Splash Mountain are a few others that are sure to get your heart racing and blood pumping.
Finally, end your day with the dazzling
Main Street Electrical Parade and the "Remember...Dreams Come True" Fireworks Spectacular. Both have nightly performances during the week you are visiting.
