Welcome aboard, Marta!
You are going to have such a blast on your majestic voyage to Alaska on the Disney Wonder. The picturesque scenery is jaw-dropping and mesmerizing. There are so many picture worthy spots, and it is refreshing to experience the beauty of Alaska - especially on the Disney Wonder. On any of the 7 nights and longer cruises, you can expect to have at least 1 formal and 1 semi-formal night. The rest would be cruise casual attire. You will surely need to bundle up for this voyage... a bit different from the usual Disney cruise voyages to other warmer destinations.
My family and I are used to the warmer California weather, but we normally visit the ski resorts every winter season -- so, I practically took out our winter jackets & accessories that we normally bundle up with (minus the ski bibs). During our port adventures and days on deck, I was pretty much in my Ugg boots. A warm jacket, gloves, scarves and a beanie for your little one will be needed to keep her warm and comfy. Layering will be key. When you visit
Tracy Arm, and spend the day up on deck, it might actually be bright & sunny that day - but the temperatures will still be very cool. It is a perfect day to make reservations for brunch at
Palo. You'll have breathtaking views from deck 10, while enjoying your gourmet meal & champagne. You will surely be taking a romantic long stroll on deck after this awesome meal.
My fellow cruise mom, Nancy, has a wonderful video covering
packing tips to help you prepare for your Alaskan voyage!
Have a great adventure with your family, Marta!
