My husband and I along with my sister and her friend will be staying at Disney for the holidays this year. My question is, which deluxe villa is best for young couples ages 24-30 and has the most christmas decorations?

    Hi Douglas!

The "best" Deluxe Villa for Christmas is the Villas at Wilderness Lodge, because I think the Wilderness Lodge is absolutely spectacular at Christmas.  The whole theme of the Wilderness Lodge lines up well with Christmas; the Christmas Tree in the lobby is fantastic!  However, I have to tell you I'm biased.  The Wilderness Lodge is my absolute favorite resort at Walt Disney World.

However, I recommend you stay at the Beach Club or at the Boardwalk instead.  Both of these resorts have Deluxe Villa rooms and they are located on Crescent Lake between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  You can walk to either theme park (though it's a long walk to the Studios) or take a boat.

The Boardwalk is obviously attached to Disney's Boardwalk entertainment area with restaurants, shops, and dining.  The Beach Club is just on the other side of the lake within easy walking distance.  I think young couples would really enjoy the Boardwalk, especially at night.  Jellyrolls, a dueling piano bar on the Boardwalk, is especially a lot of fun.  Also there is a lot of great dining in the area, especially when you include the restaurants in the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels and the restaurants located in the World Showcase portion of Epcot.

Between the two, I would pick the Beach Club, but I'm a huge fan of Stormalong Bay.  That is the pool shared by the Beach Club and the Yacht Club Resorts and it is absolutely fantastic!  It is a mini-water park with a sand bottom pool.  It is heated so it is possible to enjoy during the holidays, though getting out of the pool might be tough on a cold day!

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
