my husband and I along with our 3 girls who are 10,8,7 are planning our very first trip to Disney world and wanted to know which resort would be the best to stay at. Thanks

    Hi Jessica!

That's a very hard question.  Each hotel at the Walt Disney World resort has pluses and minuses in my opinion.  However, my all time favorite hotel is the Wilderness Lodge.  I love the theming and I love taking a boat from the lodge to the Magic Kingdom!  It's my favorite Disney Deluxe Resort.  However, I'm also a big fan of the Polynesian and the Contemporary Resort because of their access to the monorail system; being on the monorail line makes it very easy to go back and forth between your hotel room and the Magic Kingdom.  Finally, I must point out that my 7 year old son's favorite Deluxe Resort is the Animal Kingdom Lodge!

My favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside.  I especially love the Alligator Bayou section of the resort.  If you stay there, be sure to take the boat ride at night to Downtown Disney.  It's very relaxing and a lot of fun for the whole family!

My favorite Disney Value Resort is Pop Century.  I think it has a great food court, and I love the fact that there's only one bus stop at Pop Century and the hotel doesn't share a bus with any other hotel.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
