    My husband, along with our 3 children are taking our first family vacation to Disney in Oct. 08. We are staying at the Beach Club. My question is, can we walk over to the Boardwalk from the Beachclub or must we take the boat?

    You can absolutely walk. In fact, depending on where you are in the boat transportation cycle, walking would likely be much faster than the boat. I just did a little Google Earth measurement and found out the lakeside entrance to the Beach Club is almost exactly one third of mile from the lakeside entrance to the Boardwalk. Even a relatively slow walker could do this in ten minutes.
