My husband has an allergy to gluten. Are we allowed to bring into Magic Kingdom snacks/food and drinks so that he can eat safely?

    Hi Dawn,

Thank you for asking this very important question.  Many people are allergic to gluten, and it can be challenging to find something to eat at times.  You may absolutely bring in snacks and drinks into any of the Walt Disney World theme parks and water parks.  We do this all the time.  Upon entering the parks, Security will check your bags, but they have never mentioned any food at all that we have.  I also want you to be aware that all the Table Service restaurants are able to handle any Special Dietary Requests that you may have.  You can contact Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com at least two weeks prior to your vacation to help your further.  When you make your Advanced Dining Reservations online, you can put in the comments that you need a Gluten-free meal as well.  You are always welcome to speak with the Manager or Chef at the Table Service restaurants as well.   At Downtown Disney, Babycakes NYC is a store that specializes in Gluten-free pastries and cookies.  You must stop by there and try them!  A great website for other information on Gluten-free dining at Walt Disney World is www.glutenista.com/walt-disney-world-gluten-free.html.   Please send me a follow up question, Dawn, if I can help your further!  I hope you have a magical vacation and happy eating!
