    My husband and I just adopted 3 children (ages 12, 10, 8) from Ecuador. We reside in Miami Florida and would like to know if Disney offers special rate tickets for such families. We can offer proof of adoption, of course.

    Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful family news with me! Your story is heartwarming and I'm so excited to see you and your new family plan to make magical memories at Walt Disney World Resort. Your kiddos are at the perfect ages to experience Walt Disney World Resort and you are going to be in awe seeing the magic through their eyes!

    While there isn't a special rate for adoptive families, you do have countless special offers and discounts for you and your family because you are Florida residents! 

    To take advantage of Florida Resident park tickets or annual passes, you will need to provide proof of your Florida residency. You can do so by providing any of the following: valid Florida driver’s license (must have a Florida address), valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address) or a valid Florida-based military ID.

    My kiddos are similar in age to your kiddos. When you take your kiddos on their first family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, my kids recommend you stop by Guest Relations or your Disney Resort hotel front desk and pick up a celebration button to commemorate their first visit to Walt Disney World Resort. They also suggest a visit with Mickey Mouse, a family dinner at a restaurant such as Teppan Edo and then experience as many attractions as possible. They also HIGHLY recommend you make time for a Mickey's Ice Cream Bar while watching a parade! They are so excited for our next visit as they plan to experience their own Star Wars adventure at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. I know they will encourage you and your family to visit planet Batuu as well!
