Welcome to planDisney, Daniela! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today.
The holiday season is my favorite time of year at Walt Disney World Resort, so I'm pleased to hear that you have plans to visit later this week and take in all that festive joy. I see you have a question about
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and I'm happy to answer it for you so let's jump right in!
Daniela, if an event is sold out, it is likely not possible to purchase tickets for it, even if you have tickets to exchange for another date. My first recommendation would be to use the tickets on the night you have them if it is at all possible. Other plans like
dining reservations or
Disney Park Pass reservations are flexible, so if you can move other things around to make it possible to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, that would be the best course of action.
If you're not able to adjust your plans, the first thing to do is to
call the hotline for Existing Tickets and ask if there is any availability for the night that you want to go to the Party. The Cast Member helping you may tell you what you already know, that the event is sold out, but they have access to the most up-to-date information and if it is possible to exchange your ticket, they will know and will be able to help you. If you're still not able to get tickets by calling, you can still check and see if any are available on the night of the Party. If there are any for sale, they will have them at the ticket window outside
Magic Kingdom Park on the day of.
I hope this answers your question, Daniela, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
