Hey there, hi there, Maria! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney.
I'm so happy to see you here! That means that you have a magical adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth on the horizon. The only thing better than a
Walt Disney World vacation is a Walt Disney World vacation with your favorite people, and I'm thrilled to help you plan your pixie-dusted family adventure!
Since not everyone on your Disney Resort Hotel reservation will have the same ticket type, you will not be able to book a Walt Disney World Vacation Package. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries." While it takes a few extra steps, you can absolutely still book your
Disney Resort Hotel, 3-Day Tickets for your son and you, a ticket for your husband and
Memory Maker in one transaction.
I suggest starting your planning by logging into your
My Disney Experience account and finding your magical home away from home for the three of you and booking your Disney Resort Hotel room first. When you are going through the booking process, you will be given the option to add tickets here. However, adding tickets at this time would result in the reservation being converted into a Vacation Package, which would also add tickets for all three Guests. So, select the "No Tickets" option to make a room-only reservation. Make sure all three of you are listed on the reservation, even if your husband is only staying one night. Select the "Continue" button to add your Resort reservation to your Cart, but don't check out just yet. Let's add tickets and Memory Maker next!
Leave your Cart and head to "
Buy Theme Park Tickets" under the "Tickets & Parks" tab at the top of the page. Select the 3-Day Tickets for your son and you and add your Memory Maker here when prompted to do so. Click "Continue" to add your tickets and Memory Maker to your Cart, but we have one more step to go!
Head back to "Buy Theme Park Tickets" to purchase your 1-Day Ticket for your husband and select "Continue" to add his ticket to your Cart. While you will also be prompted to add Memory Maker when purchasing his ticket, there is no need to do so! I think you will be happy to hear that, as long as your My Disney Experience account is linked to your husband's via your
Family & Friends List, you will be able to view and download all of his photos, as well as your own.
Now that everything has been added to your Cart, you can check out in one transaction. It's time to start your countdown to the magic!
I hope this helps, Maria, and I hope you'll stop by any time with any questions you may have. You've got a friend in planDisney.
Have a magical time!
Mandy
