Hi there, Destiny! Thanks for bringing your great question to planDisney. We're happy you're here!
It sounds like you're planning a magical trip to
Walt Disney World Resort in the spring of next year and I'm absolutely twitterpated for you! From the seasonal snacks to the floral topiaries, the parks have never been more beautiful to experience. I'd love to help you make the most out of your trip so you don't miss a minute of the magic!
There are so many reasons why I love visiting Walt Disney World Resort, but especially because of the way it aspires to make the parks inclusive and accessible to all of its Guests. Destiny, I know you're asking about
Disability Access Service (DAS) for your husband on your upcoming trip. This service helps Guests who are unable to wait in a traditional line due to a disability. The best way to find out about eligibility is to schedule a time to
register for DAS. This can take place between two and 30 days prior to your trip, though I would recommend registering closer to 30 days before your arrival date. Your husband will need to be on the video chat where a Cast Member will help determine if this is a service that would best benefit him.
To help your husband stay as healthy as can be, I'd suggest making sure you know where the
First Aid stations are located in each of the parks! You can also find these locations easily in your
My Disney Experience app. Assistance is also available at Disney Resort hotels by touching the "Front Desk" button on your in-room phone, as well as
Guest Health Care Services Presented by AdventHealth for other needs you may have.
I hope I was able to point you in the right direction today, Destiny! If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to write to us again. We're here to help!
