Hi Emmanuelle!
Oh, the quest for the perfect Disney haven! With so many options, it can be an overwhelming decision. Let's explore the enchanting options you've set your sights on for your first visit in 2024 with your little ones. Each of the resorts you've mentioned has its own sprinkle of magic, but let's delve into the wonders awaiting you.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a lively spot with the bonus of Disney Skyliner Transportation. The vibrant theme and the pool are a hit with the kiddos. Yet, keep in mind it's a sprawling haven, the resort is huge so you might find yourself a bit of a journey away from the main hub. In all honesty, as lovely as this resort is, it would not be my choice for a first visit with small children.
Now,
Disney's Boardwalk Inn has a charm of its own, allowing you to stroll right into EPCOT. We enjoy the location and you also can access
Disney Skyliner Transportation which will take you to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Plus, those evening entertainers on the Boardwalk add an extra dash of joy. But, fair warning, some parts are under a magical makeover, and room updates aren't guaranteed. Still, you can always cast a wish for a renovated room when you check in but it isn't guaranteed. One other thing to consider, while there are some amazing restaurants nearby like Flying Fish, this resort doesn't have a great quick service option, which is often best for little ones.
Ah,
Disney's Contemporary Resort, a pinnacle of pixie-dusted perfection and one of my family's favorite resorts! The proximity to Magic Kingdom is unmatched, the Monorail adventures are plenty, and the delightful
Contempo Cafe makes it a top choice for my family. Yes, it might sway towards the high end of the budget, but I always recommend keeping an eye out for those special offers. A day exploring the resort and pool, riding the
Walt Disney World Monorail Transportation, and hopping to nearby resorts is a tradition we cherish.
As for
Disney's Wilderness Lodge, it's a gem nestled in nature. Availability can be a bit elusive but don't lose hope. Plans change, and pixie dust might just sprinkle your way so check back often.
No matter where you choose to lay your head, I'm sure your family is bound to create many magical memories. Happy planning, and may your Disney adventure be enchanting.
