my ds (6) is a huge star wars fan because of lego's. he has never been able to sit through one of the movies without being scared. will he be able to handle star tours?

    Hi Dyane,

As the mother of another Lego Star Wars fan who used to get very scared of the movies, I can tell you that your son will probably not find anything frightening about Star Tours.  The premise of the attraction is that you are traveling to Endor (the planet where the Ewoks live) with a droid on his first solo flight.  The trip is anything but smooth sailing as the starspeeder goes out of control.

Now, I do have to say, that if your son is prone to motion sickness, this may not be the best attraction for him.  It does bounce you around quite a bit.  Star Tours is a favorite of mine, but my husband can't stand it - he feels sick almost every time he rides.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation and may the Force be with you!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
