Hi Laurie,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Be Our Guest Restaurant is also one of my family's favorites, so I understand your dilemma!
At this time, changes only affect the dinner experience at
Be Our Guest. Breakfast and lunch will remain quick-service with reservations still highly recommended. Since it sounds like you are on one of the
Disney Dining Plans, I suggest that you keep an eye on the dining plan entitlement requirements for each restaurant. To check, go to the restaurant's website, click on "Some Dining Plans Accepted." A pop-up menu should appear that depicts the number of dining plan entitlements required at breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Laurie, I do hope you are still able to enjoy breakfast or lunch at Be Our Guest. We always do a pre-park opening breakfast reservation at Be Our Guest on a day when the park does not have Extra Magic Hours. Just check the
park hours for the date of your visit. With a pre-park opening dining reservation, we can enter the park a few minutes before most other guests. Walking through an almost empty park always adds a little extra pixie dust to our trip! If you finish breakfast before the park officially opens, go get in the stand-by line for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. On our last visit, we just walked on - MAGIC!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
