Welcome to planDisney, Jennie!
I'm thrilled to see that you'll be visiting Disney World with a huge family group! One of my favorite ways to visit Disney World is with extended family -- it makes things SO much more fun! I hope you and your family get a chance to see the new nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom debuting this summer:
Disney Starlight!
The nice thing about dining reservations is that only 1 person (the lead person) will need to have the dining reservation linked to their name/account. All other Guests will just be listed either as an "Adult" a "Child" or an "Infant" on the dining reservation. This keeps things easy so that when you check in for your dining experience, only one person is managing the plans -- you'll just need to make sure that everyone is present when you check in for your meal (the restaurant will need to match the number of people on the reservation to your table).
Here is a list of my favorite Table Service Restaurants to dine at with large families:
-
Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge (Buffet-Style)
-
Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom (Family-Style)
-
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant at Hollywood Studios
-
Teppan Edo at EPCOT
-
Tusker House at Animal Kingdom for breakfast (Buffet-Style)
-
'Ohana at Polynesian Resort (Family-Style)
There are so many incredible places to sit down and enjoy a meal with large families, Jennie! I hope you have fun deciding where your group would like to dine. Remember to
book your dining experiences up to 60 days in advance. If you're staying at a valid Disney Resort Hotel, you can make your dining reservations for the entire length of your stay (for up to a 10-night stay) up to 60 days before your arrival!
If you have additional questions before your trip, Jennie, we would love to hear from you again at planDisney!
See ya real soon,
Allyn
