Hi there! Thank you so much for reaching out to planDisney.
Valerie, can I just tell you how happy your question makes me? I'm a food-motivated person and making dining plans at the Walt Disney World Resort is something I
live for! As you probably already know, there are so many amazing options across the Walt Disney World Resort. From
quick service to
table service to
signature dining, there truly is something for everyone.
For me, you can't go wrong with
EPCOT. It's just such a great park for an adults-only night out and there's something romantic about strolling along World Showcase before a delicious dinner. So let's dig in!
Take a bus to EPCOT and leisurely stroll toward World Showcase. You will be visiting during the
International Flower & Garden Festival so the park will be absolutely stunning with all of the displays, exhibits, and
topiaries. Take some
PhotoPass photos while you make your way through either World Celebration or World Nature. Once you get to the beginning of the World Showcase, go right toward Canada if you want a shorter walk or go left toward Mexico if you want to rest your feet. Once the menus for the
Outdoor Kitchens have been announced on the
Disney Parks Blog, that may sway your decision.
No matter which way you go, sample some of the drinks from the Outdoor Kitchens as you make your way through the various pavilions. Hot tip: the France Pavilion always has the best booths at the festivals in my opinion! Once you pass through France (if you went to the left to Mexico at first) or the United Kingdom (if you went to the right to Canada at first), exit the park through the International Gateway exit.
This will put you at the International Gateway Station of the
Disney Skyliner. Hop aboard one of the aerial gondolas and get off at the first stop: the breathtaking
Disney's Riviera Resort. Here, you can sample some drinks at
Le Petit Café or
Bar Riva before dinner. Then, when it's time for your reservation, you'll go to the top floor and enjoy an exquisite dinner at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. From the ambiance to the French and Italian Riviera-inspired dishes to the views of the resort, it's truly one of the best dining experiences at the resort right now. Please ensure that you have secured advanced dining reservations for this restaurant (which can be made 60 days prior at 6AM EST) and since it is more of a formal dining experience, dress accordingly.
Valerie, I hope you and "the hubs" have a wonderful vacation and a beautiful evening taking in all the sights, sounds, and flavors.
Eat all the good stuff,
Matt
