    My hubby and I are going to WDW in Feb. It will be my hubby's first visit and I want it to be special- I grew up in Orlando & can't wait to be back!My hubby's a huge animal lover and I'm curious about the Wild Africa Trek.Any experiences?how much is it

    Hi Nikkole! I am sure you will be excited about heading south during the winter months in Wisconsin. I am there often as we go to all the Packer games and for me the colder the better!

    If your husband enjoys animals you will surely want to spend a good day or two at the wonderful Animal Kingdom park. There are amazing attractions such as the safari, the walks, the Rafiki's Planet Watch, and the flights on Wonder show. These all include real live animals to watch and enjoy and learn about.

    I loved the Wild Africa Trek and it should be a nice time to take this. Don't book the early morning times as it might be a bit cool but late morning would be perfect. You will take a short hike in areas that are off limits to regular guests. You will have two guides who will educate you about what you will see and experience as well as take pictures along the way. You trek over the crocodiles on a swinging bridge and then head out into the savannah to see the animals up close and personal. You have a wonderful catered lunch at a very special spot and you will want to use the restrooms here as they are incredibly beautiful! The price ranges from $140-$250 per person depending on specials and time of year.

    The backstage tour of this park is also a great tour. You visit some of the backstage homes to elephants, giraffes, hippos and rhinos! You might meet a friendly bird or two and will be educated in the meals of all the animals. It is another option.

    Whatever you do you will find this park an amazing place to visit!
