Hi Robert! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
I always enjoy it when I get to talk Disney with Guests from all around the world! I have yet to make my way to any European countries, but when I get the chance to, London is high on top of the list. For now, I will settle on spending time in the UK Pavilion at
EPCOT.
Oh boy! Oh boy! If your hubby wants to treat you to a Club Level stay at
Disney's Beach Club Resort, I hope you take him up on that offer! Have you ever imagined what it was like for Cinderella to attend the Royal Ball? This is how I felt when I stayed at Club Level here recently. It's tough to go back to a standard resort room after this.
The Club Level Experience starts from the moment you arrive onsite. A Cast Member escorted us to the Stone Harbor Club, which is located on the 5th floor of the resort. You will need to tap your MagicBand inside the elevator to stop at this floor. Guests not staying on this level are unable to access it. When we arrived, there was a variety of light snacks but we had just missed the Continental Breakfast that was on display for most of the morning hours. I'm sure the hours are subject to change, but from 7 AM to 10 PM there was typically food and drinks offered, including a selection of adult beverages for Guests 21 years of age and older.
In my opinion,
staying Club Level is worth the extra expense if you plan on spending time at the resort. If you are a person who gets to the park pre-opening and stays until the firework show is finished, then I'm not sure if a Club Level room makes sense for your stay. You won't be at the hotel long enough to take advantage of the benefits. But at Disney's Beach Club Resort,
Stormalong Bay (main pool), is an attraction all by itself. You can spend entire days just relaxing poolside without a care in the world. To have access to the Club Level and Stormalong Bay, I'm not sure if you ever need to leave your resort at all!
I don't want to share any spoilers for your upcoming stay, but I will say that the Cast Members go above and beyond to make your stay as memorable as possible. There are a lot of small touches that will be part of your visit that will at times give you all of the feels! I would recommend planning your park days around spending extra time at the resort. Maybe take a mid-day break from the parks or return earlier than normal. The evening hours usually feature hors d'oeuvres that can be filling enough to be your meal for the night.
Robert, I hope I was able to steer you in the right direction. If you have any additional questions,
stop back to planDisney at any time!
Happy planning!
