Hey there, Theresa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are getting ready to plan an epic family adventure to the Happiest Place on Earth!
One of the reasons I love the Disneyland Resort so much is that I can have a magical adults-only experience as well as make memories that will last a lifetime with little ones. With so many amazing attractions, dining options, and entertainment, everyone will enjoy their vacation in so many unique ways. There is a brief
park packing list available online so you don't forget any essentials. When we brought our toddler, I always made sure to have a stroller, a refillable water bottle, some small snacks, sunscreen, changes of clothes/diapers, his favorite blanket, and noise-cancelling ear muffs if he fell asleep while we wanted to watch the fireworks. With
Baby Care Centers located in both parks, you can stock up on any diapering essentials or pacifiers you may have forgotten as well. These locations are also great for potty-training little ones to use tiny toilets. My son thought these were great when he was potty training! I like to keep my extra items in a convenient locker rental in one of the parks so I don't have to carry everything on me. These lockers also make great places to stash souvenirs and extra layers of clothing.
Toddlers will love family-friendly classics like "it's a small world," Peter Pan's Flight, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant to name a few attractions. They'll also love meeting their favorite Characters throughout both parks. One of my son's favorite activities at this age was watching Disney Junior Dance Party! where he could dance off some energy while mom and dad could rest.
I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions!
