Hi Karen!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Ooo, you're thinking about setting sail on one of the itineraries close to the top of my Disney Cruise bucket list! Embarking on a 14-Night Westbound Panama Canal Cruise would be absolutely unforgettable!
I love setting sail on itineraries that last longer than one week! The longer I'm onboard a Disney Cruise ship, the better! When my family and I sailed on the eastbound transatlantic cruise, there weren't as many kids onboard because it was during the school year and the cruise lasted 14 nights. I actually think the kids had even MORE fun because the Youth Counselors really got to know each kiddo on a personal level and the kids became close with the new friends they met onboard! Even though there were fewer kids, it didn't mean that there was less fun! The
Youth Clubs packed the schedule with fun activities for every day at sea as well as when the ship was docked at each port of call. I have no doubts that this will be the case during the
Panama Canal voyage, too!
There are so many exciting
Port Adventures you'll be able to choose from during your voyage if you book this cruise! Booking Port Adventures through Disney Cruise Line is my favorite way to explore the culture and beauty of each port of call. With so many stops during a Panama Canal sailing, you're going to have so much fun looking through each excursion and deciding which one to book!
Karen, thanks so much for stopping by with this great question. I'll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed that you book this cruise and have a magical time sailing through the Panama Canal!
